MR NFOR AMISU SAHNDA HAS THIS TO SAY ABOUT OUR AGRICULTURE



One of the misleading concepts in Agriculture in Africa and Cameroon in particular is that, People turn to Agriculture only when they must have faild from from their aspirations and other fields of dream professions or during retirement.

This is one of the reason why our agricultural sector has suffered and remain at the rudimentary level.

Once we keep this kind of mindset, it makes it difficult to see the gold mind in Agriculture . Our agricultural practices has not rewarded us this much like other professions due to this kind of misconception.

This is the reason why Farmer Business School training is being intensify to rural farmers in Cameroon to deviate them from this kind of thinking.

*we practise other professions as real business but agriculture is taken as  » let me just do it for doing sake » .*

Unfortunately is where we put our resources and we don’t even account for these resources thinking that it’s the activity that doesn’t pay.

Agriculture is not to be practiced as a last option or bus stop profession and anyone can build his or her mindset towards agriculture as a business and it rewards you like other profession or businesses.
